Some Super Good Advice... Used it last night, hard mode, the detainment shield used 4 bullets from the clip to remove it. Oracles, it laughed at them, never reloaded for all them and it isn't 300, it's only 274, as mine needs 18 energy to max it, which I don't have.

Some Super Bad Advice, don't even think about using it against the big cheese. 701 for a critical hit...if you can get one that is. I used the raid sniper and was getting 9000+ for crit in the relic shield. Not as good as the Ive Breaker, but not bad.

You cleaned up, Josh! Meanwhile, in those two hard raids I got nothing useful/new. We breezed through Atheon/GK in one shot on our second run, surprisingly.

It's always interesting to me mixing the two main groups of people I play with, but I'm glad it worked out well for everyone and it was a pleasant experience.

So eff it, I made another Hunter.

It's how slot machines and the lottery get you . I keep saying I'm putting this game down, but I find myself picking it up to do the dailies. the weeklies, and daily bounties. And now, leveling up legendary weapons which have decided to rain on me lately.

Yeah. It's no different than playing with LFG groups, though, and I have some really good experiences there (as well as some bad). I was not sure if those were guys you are regular with or just guys you met along the way, but I can tell you why it works out. In my experience playing with both regulars and randoms, when the participants are flexible and patient it usually works out well. When someone in the group has a strong opinion about the right and wrong ways to do it, or when the team argues, it usually fails. An example, I think would be the GK last night. Everyone was cool with trying it one way a few times, then switching up and doing it the other way. Personally, though it takes a little longer, I prefer the one-ata-time method. It takes pressure off those inside from coordinating efforts, and even a level 29 with a AE and IB can handle the middle for a little while. You can afford to lose a couple to the conflux there and still win. And in normal mode, the second GK goes down in one hit using the super with the shield.

It was kind of a weird night. Like the moon was full or something, with all of the random people popping in and out of the party just to see what was going on. There is a lot of excitement, I think, about The Dark Below.

That's the truth. If drops were predictable, and if trading was allowed, nobody would be playing Destiny anymore. It's like a slot machine. You can't stop putting the coins in.

Thank you for joining.

You get no gloves. With the 2 raids last night, all I got was 2 sets of gloves(in the same raid), pencils and fruit cake.

With the lack of spare time today. I should be able to run my 2 dailies, and possibly squeeze in my last Nightfall. I should be home by 2:00 EST, so if anyone is on, feel free to join. Might just play a few hours in the afternoon, and maybe tonight if nothing comes up.

Need to finish the following:

1 Nightfall
Weekly x 2
1 Raid (Sunday)

I agree. Have you ever noticed when you get to the gatekeeper part and ask what the plan is, everyone gets quiet? lol. When everything goes well, 2 people in different portals at the same time can knock it out in just a couple minutes, but chances are you spend a few times trying and failing when you could have just sent 2 people in 1 portal at a time and finished the first time.

I died at one point and watched you killing the Praetorians from the back on the GK part, that's a good idea and I never noticed anyone doing that before, it seemed to work out really well. I also had never done the oracle cheese, so it's nice to know that as well.... maybe I will have every aspect of it figured out right when the new one comes out and eveyone quits playing the VOG.

That was the smoothest GK/Atheon I've seen. Thanks for the invite. I've got one more hard raid I need to do if anyone wants to do another late night ~11est tonight.

Did you ever run this last night? I stuck around for a couple hours after our normal raid, and never got an invite. I saw you farming, so assumed the raid was a bust.

I really need to get (carried by 30's) through a hard raid so I can have a better chance at drops. I'm really getting tired of getting nothing but ascendant material (socks and pencils, as Mega puts it) every time of late.

I don't need anymore this week, but would be happy to do another with my 30, let's see if we can get some more and knock it out! I think 4 30's and 2 29's would be easy enough, and I'm sure mega will help if he is able too so there is 2 of the 30's right there......

I would like in if at all possible. Are you guys perhaps doing a late raid tonight? I can safely do one at 10CST, "maybe" 9CST.

Seeing the loot reports has me aching to complete a hard raid, my character needs the helmet, and a strong primary desperately.

My corrective measure will be fully upgraded by tonight.
