Lizard, I don't know what your schedule is today; I get off early at 2. I should be on around 2:30 and can knock some stuff out before the wife gets home.
Then I can pretend like I aint played all day so she wont be mad about me staying up late to Raid with Ken.

Ha! Me and Bailey laugh at the gatekeepers!! We usually one shot it on hard with Jafos help. It helps that we been doing it together so long that we all know each others next move without saying a word.

I am hoping to get out of here a little early today, but even if I do there is a chore list to do when I get home so I won't be able to make it on until later.....most likely. But, that being said, you don't need to wait for me to do the weeklys, if you can do them sooner then go for it. I have 4 days to play and will just run out of stuff to do anyway, lol.

quick question. So the only way to get to level 30 is to earn armor from doing VOG on hard...is that right?

Just curious, are there any regulars in this forum who did not preorder the DLC?

And, does it go live at midnight Eastern, like most digital pre-orders, or the usual reset time?

No, you can have an exotic helm and the rest raid gear, from normal.

No. You need three pieces of raid armor you can get from normal mode and one exotic helmet. But you get 2X drops in hard mode, increasing your chances. You can also use level 30 boots and gloves from the Iron Banner, if you played enough, with a raid chest piece and an exotic helm.

You need 3 raid armor pieces and one exotic armor to hit 30. ***or Iron Banner boots and gauntlets***

Most people will go with the exotic helm on the the raid armor, boots, and gauntlets to hit 30 since the raid helm only drops on VOG hard.

Raid armor, boots, and gauntlets will drop on normal VOG.

Iron Banner seems to be about every 4-6 weeks.

I have yet to play/beat a hard raid but what are my chances on getting a helmet once we beat it Sunday? First try, few times, multiple tries?

1st raid this week with this guy?

Aethon usually drops a keys/shards, ship, scooter, raid helm, or exotic on hard. Hopefully you don't get 2 of the same thing.

I've heard some poor soul say he got chatterwhite on hard, but I haven't seen that yet.

I have done 2 hard raids and 1 atheon cheese and got 2 helmets so.....for me the chances are good.

Yup, first Raid this weekend for my Warlock. If all goes planned, my Warlock will reach 30 first before my poor Hunter.

My Hunter has an exotic helmet, and still waiting for a Raid chest on normal.
