That was The Little Mermaid. Its conversion was never actually stopped though--just cancelled from theaters and only released on BD3D.

I thought they converted it years ago along with lion king and beauty and the beast and where waiting for when to release it.

Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King were converted in-house by Disney. The Little Mermaid was outsourced later to Legend 3D. You will notice in Mermaid, there is greater retention of its 2D animated style and less attempt to shape every object with volume than in Lion King or BatB.
