If you are looking for best deal then get the vizio. You might have a bit more chance of having an issue but I usually find it's worth the savings. I currently have a 70" Vizio (wanted passive 3D and largest screen) and I am very happy with it. I've had several Vizios and have bought several for my sister and her kids. Only 1 had an HDMI issue with one of the HDMI ports (after 5 years) but all the others have never had an issue. MY previous Samsung took 2 times for Samsung to fix. Great customer service and it took them a while to figure out what the manufacturing defect was but you could have that issue with any TV manufacturer.
