Listen to the way he pronounces his t's, and also the bass in his voice. Adam Driver has a very deep voice, and is also very tall - if they did pick him for a villainous role, that's probably why!

This may be something it may be nothing... My mom is friends with driver's uncle and we were told he is the "new darth vader" in the movie before casting was announced. Yea I'm cool lol. I think that is driver going off my info.

i came into this thread expecting people to be complaining. I'm kind of shocked at the very positive reaction to this teaser. I sincerely hope the movie explains a lot of what I take issue with in this preview. I want to like this movie...but I'm still very skeptical especially after reading about the rumored plot. Seems like a cash grab to me, that makes no sense in the context of the original trilogy...and also the prequels.

Too much CG? Fine with me though, I never had any problems with it.

Boo this man. I don't think Disney spending hundreds of millions on a franchise and bringing in JJ To direct could be considered a cash grab lol. How does continuing the story of the original cast to show their lives after early 20's make no sense in context?

Disney's motivation may be cash, but JJ is a passionate Star Wars fan and would probably rather die horribly in the acidic digestive juices of the Sarlacc pit than mess up the legacy of a cherished franchise such as this.

That part was the BOMB! But nothing compares to seeing the Falcon in that fantastic swoop maneuver. DUDE! This whole teaser is the BOMB! It's primed to explode!
