Dr. Nope has active radar down sight, which makes me think it's PvP weapon. I have one, never used it. Too much better stuff. I would never consider it for VoG, if I had an upgraded raid weapon.

I got Epilogue in my first normal raid and only just got a VoC, so I prefer the Epilogue, just because I'm more accustomed to using it. But, I just fully upgraded my Fatebringer this week, and I used it to help an old friend with hard Atheon last night. I will be using it today as my primary weapon.

I have had a lot of fun with Dr. Nope in PvE. Originally got it as was at 200 marks so bought for purposes of breaking it down for energies. It is woeful at the beginning but once you level it up for stability it becomes really enjoyable. Not to be used like Shadow Price as doesn't have the range. Coupe raids I was on people were using it on Oracles at end. Didn't try that myself but am considering it next time out. One of my favorite Dr. Nope moments was against the Archon Priest. I was hiding behind one of the rocks but had clear view of him. Unloaded a full clip of 72 bullets into his face. He just paused and stared back at me.

Something has been bugging me for some time now about the VoG. When you finally down Atheon in the vault of GLASS, instead of him having the same animation as every other boss, burning away. He should have shattered into pieces like GLASS!

And now back to your scheduled thread...

The Vision of Confluence is my favourite primary in the whole game. Even above the Vex.

The vex has a small clip compared to the VoC and the VoC is a great all rounder weapon with ace stability and range.

Dr Nope I'm upgrading now, but simply because all my other primaries are maxed out. Dr nope is not a favourite of mine, but that's personal taste.

if you guys are needing another person to run a hard raid 2nite, I'm going to be on just f**king around by myself most likely.......feel free to shoot me a friend request if you need to fill a spot.

I could possibly bring along my buddy who's a level 30 titan......I'd have to see if he's home 2nite or not.

I have a 29 'lock and would love to but I would probably be more liability than help since I have yet to do the raid at all.

Is it recommended I pick up the hunter chest piece from Xur in anticipation of starting a new character?

Only downside I see is needing the raid helmet to get to 30.

Thoughts?

Probably 2 or 3 hours for me. What's your screen name?

Same as here. PA_Kid
I'll try and plan to be on either way in the next hour and a half to two hours (8-8:30 central) unless I hear otherwise.

Thanks all for the input on Dr. Nope. I think I'll just hold onto it as-is for awhile, and stick it in the vault. After seeing how Jon burns through enemies in a hard raid with Fatebringer, that's my new want-to-have weapon, possibly even ahead of Jelly-Horn.

Thanks all for bringing a lowly 29 along with you for the hard raid today. Even though I got squat (okay, I got gloves, but don't need them), it was a good first experience (not counting all of the glitches). I didn't feel like I held the team back, which is the more important part for me. Looking forward to giving it another go.

Okay, I just had my most successful raid tonight. For the Aetheon part I decided to go with Dr. Nope and what a big difference. Mine isn't even fully ranked up but it was way better for me than my 300 Shadow Price. Oracles were going down much easier. Supplicants too. Too many times with Shadow Price do I find myself in a bad moment to have to reload.
