When in doubt use that link.I use it whenever I have an issue and wonder if it's me or the site.Been using it for a long time.I keep it loaded in my tabs in my Pale Moon browser.

Looks like it was a network problem that the onsite technician had to address. Thankfully, the issue did not occur Thursday or Friday

Yes it was down around early Sunday evening for me and I was just now able to log on. Man it just made me realize how addicted I was to this site. I was concerned I was going to lose my collection information. I am happy to see we are back online! Woo hoo!!

For such a well-known community, a little communication from the staff is probably not too much to ask? That is why you have the Facebook page. A quick status update takes only a few seconds but would really help a lot of people. This is not the first time either. Anyway, happy that it was nothing too serious and we're back in business.

A lot of us depend on the site for comparison shopping, and keeping up with the latest deals!!

I was only just able to get back on the site just a minute ago. It was down for me since around 7PM last night (and was really slow for a bit before that).

As Blu Titan said a rare issue with the network occurred and since it was the network we couldn't solve it remotely

This is actually not solved permanently as we need to upgrade the firmware which we plan on doing tomorrow, but the risk of it happening again before that is <0.05%.

And you don't have to worry about data loss, after the 2012 fiasco we have several complete backups in several locations

The site being down made me realise just how much I use it! Glad to have it back and also glad that the risk of data loss has been eliminated.

I used that site as well to verify it was the site that was down. I had also tried different browsers just in case.

I don't know why everyone is complaining here and on FB. Maybe in the downtime people should do something productive, like clean something or read a book. That is what I did.
