Quite dumb that no primary weapons will drop in normal difficulty. Hopefully the secondaries and heavies will make up for that.

Yes, I comprehend. Just not sure how I feel about us all buying The Dark Below to get to grind the training wheels version of the raid for a month to month and a half just to be allowed to do the real version later.

So the raid is basically only going to drop raid armor and shards to enhance it at the start - which really are only useful for running the raid all over again on a harder mode just to get to the actual fun stuff like weapons.

People were complaining about the grind before - conceptually this just turns it up to 11 in my opinion. This better be a ridiculously fun and engaging raid...

Edit - just caught the distinction edge, thanks for pointing out. I was thinking all weapons, but it's just primaries, huh? Not as bad as I thought.

Still not a fan of releasing the Hard later - they are definitely trying to artificially stretch out the content and keep people playing with that move...

Didn't I read that only primary raid weapons will be limited to the hard raid? I assume all others will be available on the normal raid.

To me it makes sense how they are doing this, as you are not going to want to run the hard raid without at least 4 32's in your group (for the "average" gamer), and people aren't going to get to 32 for a couple weeks, minimum.

Its not like youre going to do hard at 30. Are you able to beat the current hard at 28?

I am getting better at the Crucible, but being alone and being unfortunate to go up against a team that coordinates well, it's just really frustrating. I had 3 matches in a row where I had the highest score of any player on either team, but still managed to lose the 3rd one. Right before that streak, I had a match where the other team utterly destroyed us and I ended up with a K/D of 0.43.

How many of you have cultivated multiple copies of the same character so you could run the raid multiple times a week?

I think some people will hit 32 before the end of the year, mark my words.

(No, it won't be me - conceptually though I'm not a fan of them holding it back.)

Again, I didn't catch it was only primaries, so it's not as bad as I initially though.

They will be left behind so to speak as legendaries in the new DLC will be more powerful etc... (buy buy VoC )

Exotics are the only items which can be upgraded to be relevant in new DLC missions/raid/etc...

Anyways, regarding all this new information about the game and DLC that was released today: seriously, my brain hurts trying to wrap my head around all of it. I think it's going to be a lot of fun with all the new content and changes that are happening, but it's a bit much trying to take it all in. Bungie sure is doing a great job making us come back for more, and more, and more though. We're all hooked, and the first step is admitting it.
