I made another flawless raider attempt last night. Got all the way to Atheon and on the last 10% of his health and upon getting into the center the relic glitched and everyone died.


What a POS of a trophy.

Wow, that's so close! You must have a very strong Fireteam. My biggest fear on achieving this trophy is the glitches! I know I can play a normal raid without dying on my end as long as the game doesn't glitch.

Btw, if you're a Warlock and die, but then you revive. Does that still count as an initial death?

Even though this game has repetitive tasks, it's the people I play here that makes this game very fun. If you didn't have any e-friends to play this game with. Then the game gets old, rather fast.

here is what I am wondering. There are a lot of people looking for that 1 piece of raid gear to hit 30, I wonder if you have 2 raid gear, 1 exotic, and 1 legendary, then you upgrade the exotic on the new system, will that put you at 30? I think it should....

That would be kinda nice even though 32 is the new number to be at you could at least run the VOG on hard every week with a little less trouble.

Also, like Mike (and I think John) said, it's the people that keep me coming back, I would have quit playing a while back had it not been for the people I have met along the way. I would have missed Mike running around trying not to get blown up by the headless minotaur the other day....that would have been a shame! :P

I'd think so too since you can supposedly upgrade exotic armor.

I do think it will be easy enough to exceed level 30 once you get 1-2 raids in.

Oh, when the update comes. Will you be able to get the latest Raid gear if you revisit VOG, or the new Raid gear applies to the new Hive Raid?


Josh, when we did the Nightfall, you were cracking up when that Minotaur was chasing me up the stairs. I didn't think that was possible! It's like being chased by a T-Rex. That was hilarious

I'll be honest; the news yesterday kinda rubbed me the wrong way. Don't think I can go through the grind again with all my characters, and I love my legendary weapons. The only way to make this work for me is to slim down and work one character. I've already deleted the Warlock and, if it weren't for the hard raid tonight (with an awesome group of guys), the Titan would be gone as well.

I've done it, but it's a time-consuming process.

I feel the same way, Andy. Probably a huge percentage of my 300+ hours into it was just leveling weapons. For it to all be moot now?

I mean, the difference in attack between 300 and 320-330 is what, anyway, in actual damage per shot terms?

I've posted more than once my dislike of the game, yet I still play it everyday. It's a love hate relationship.

And I have a sneaking suspicion that even after DLC comes out, the dailies and weeklies will still be the same missions from the core game. Otherwise those that did not buy the DLC will be playing DLC missions for free.

It's looking like Eris will add some meat to the thin narrative and I'm glad for that.

Couldn't they add a new/different icon for those that have purchased the DLC? If you have the DLC you can click it and if not its grayed out.

It says this

In Crota’s End, Bungie has added the ability for Destiny to track the drops you’ve already had, as well as how long its been since you received a particular item.

You’ll now have a more consistent reward experience with the raid, which will be available on December 9th.

I know they mentioned the reward experienced would be better, but now reading this, at least the chance of getting duplicates will be lessened.
