I have this fantasy where 3.0 players are mandated to have certain speciality audio features not required of 2.0 players, especially DSD-64 (legacy SACD) and maybe DSD-128 playback. In my fantasy there is a glorious return of hi-res audio on disc, BD-Audio replaces CD with lots of great titles to choose from, and I get the princess in the end.
