i heard you just stand on the plate to start the bridge forming, everyone wipes, and you need a warlock to resurrect and revive the team, then you can snipe the ogres from across the bridge

i'd like to try at 8pm central. im not a warlock though, so we'll need at least one

Jon and JJ, I've cut back on playing a lot. I feel your pain. The game's getting to me with the grinding. Before it as just stuff I did to pass time, now because I don't have so much time in the house lately I find I could be playing all these games I bought since Destiny. I even fired up Assassin's Creed Black Flag yesterday which I finished on PS3 months ago. I'm not gonna quit completely though and like I said before if it weren't for playng co op with other people I'd have put this down a while ago.

I honestly don't know how you approach a game like this casually. Even you more casual players are grinding for upgrades and looking for cheese methods.

Perhaps the raids are what is getting you down?

I may be in the minority, but I don't mind grinding for materials, and bounties. That really is casual, you can grind a bit, or do a few bounties, stop and have a cup a coffee all within an hour. Then you can come back to it a day later and pick up where you left off.

If you are stuck in a raid for 4+ hours. Yeah, that is when it may get annoying. Then multiply this by a few times a week.

There has to be a way to manage the burn out. Perhaps what you should do is stay away from raids for a while?

Well, you can start by stop calling it grinding and start calling it quality time with friends. Start playing with others, it's not hard to do since we are all doing the same bounty's. I think we should make an iron banner time together in the evenings with a full group of friends and give it X amount of time and quit. Try this approach, and see how it works. It would be fun to PLAY together and likely get some weapons and armor as a bonus!

I can get onboard with this. Get a IB fireteam going.

Iron Banner is not too bad if you have a full fireteam of people you know. IB will also give you a break from the rest of the game.

Yeah, this is why Mike has implemented a time limit on it, 2 hours and we give it up for the night. We got to the end of the raid last night and quit, normally we would have spent all night trying and getting frustrated. I think I will stick to the 2 hour raid limit too, especially since the new one is so short.

It seems quite a few of us are interested in the iron banner (assuming we can get light level 36 armor) and starting a team so I will start a list and we can decide on times later. I am off from 4 pm tomorrow until the 29th so any time will work for me.
