I hate the whole idea of MVP awards in pro sports. MVP can mean many different things to different people and thus usually eliminates players who are the best player in their sport but happen to be on a terrible team. I'd prefer replacing it with "Most Outstanding Player" to be awarded to the best player in the league. That way at least voters would then be more likely to vote for the best player rather than screwing over a player just because his team stinks.

I'd go with nobody. Seriously, we've been hearing about a team "potentially" moving to LA for like 20 years now and it never happens. I don't think it will happen anytime soon. LA has had NFL teams in the past and it's fan support was garbage.

Just like any other voting that takes place in this country, I'm sure a certain amount of "politics" enter into it.
Personally I'd like to see MVP by position, since you win as a team. The criteria would be simple: Best stats takes home the hardware. That way it's more objective than subjective.

49ers defensive lineman Ray McDonald, who was arrested for domestic violence earlier this season but not charged, is now being investigated for sexual assault and the 49ers have released him. The 49ers will take a $4.6 million hit on their 2015 salary cap by releasing him.

Awards by position could be done too. College football more or less has that. Though it's the media that votes for the winners I think. When it comes to the NFL it's virtually impossible to win MVP unless you're a QB or RB. Last defensive player to win was LT in 1986.

It's going to happen. It's just a matter of when.

I think it'll be two teams. Since the stadium will have to be privately financed it'll be a lot easier to spread out the cost if there's two teams using the stadium. I think the Chargers will be one and the Rams will be the other. The Rams owner purchased some land in Inglewood earlier this year that could potentially be a site for a new stadium.

They couldn't even get enough fans to support one team in LA last time around. You actually think they have enough for two teams?

Come on man... no it won't. Europe takes American football even less seriously than America takes their version of football (soccer), despite Goodell's best efforts in pushing the NFL on them. Europe isn't going to have an NFL team in my lifetime.

Cutler is terrible and only a team desperate for a bridge/bottom 10 QB will go for him.

People have been waiting for him to put it together for years and he still hasn't. He is who he is at this point.
