[Show spoiler]Steps to Reproduce:
1. Fireteam member with the best internet connection, load into the final boss encounter solo.
2. Remaining members join on that player. (This ensures that the fireteam leader is the host)
3. Each member of the team stand near the crystal to begin the fight
4. Clear the crystal room and hallways
5. Exit the hallways and begin the Crota fight as normal (left side is easiest)
6. Have two members dedicated to sniping Knights on the tower and bridge
7. Have two members focus on downing the sword bearer and Crota.
8. Have the fireteam leader/host briefly help with the sword bearer and then retreat back into the hallway out of harm
9. Fireteam leader/host press the PS button > select Settings > Network > Highlight "Connect to the Internet" and prepare to disconnect
10. Down the sword bearer > pick up the sword > get into position to jump up to Crota
11. Down Crota > as soon as his knee goes down, yell out "He's Down" > fireteam leader/host de-selects "Connect to the Internet" as soon as they hear "He's Down"
12. Fireteam leader/host re-selects "Connect to the Internet" > reboot Destiny and re-join the fireteam and party chat
13. Crota will be down on one knee for the duration of the fight > continue to down sword bearers and fight Crota. It should take 2 swords

Note: Make sure to not kill Crota until the original fireteam leader/host returns

All right. Screw those witches. Who has a Crotas save for around 10 CST tonight?

Was thinking the same thing. Hopefully I can get the Crota CP from Benny or Kyle this evening. Is the gang from last night up for a challenge? I'm okay with attempting it legit for awhile, and cheesing if we can't get anywhere.

you had said yesterday you could get 3 hits each time he went down.

which controls were you using??

i took the sword once last night and got 3 R1 hits on him.....where you swipe the blade across your body.

i watched Ken one time and it looked like he was hitting R2 where you hit him like you're chopping wood w/an axe.....he was lucky to get 2 hits on him before Crota smashed his sh!t in w/that big @$$ sword of his!!!

if the cheese works and the fireteam leader can join back in......it shouldn't take long at all.

Yes gotta time it right, I'm so tempted to go for 4 hits but 3 heavy swings is playing it safe. We couldn't get the regular 3 way hit enough damage and would always get close to enrage. 3

Man, I gotta stop playing this game after drinking. I was on the moon and just kept walking off the edge of the map to die. So of course I had the melee kill 30 without dying. I died more than I killed.

You would remember. Its the one after the 2 shriekers. If you don't get there fast enough the doors will close and you wont get it.
