I dont really have anything to add, today marked the biggest gaming announcement in the past 3+ years. I cannot think of a single event that could have changed the momentum of the console wars more then losing FF13, and low and behold, it happened. I truly despise MS more then ever.

The loss of FXIII really sucks, Sony needs to come out with a bang, and i'm talking about a fatman bomb bang!

Sony needs to have amazing info now. Now i couldnt give a shit about resistance 2 and killzone 2 I know what they look like and Ill get them when they come out, but now I want sony to pull a game out of their ass the xbox people love and say "here ps3 owners this ones for you!!!" Thats all I want. I want an eye for an eye!

omg. IT ISN'T A LOSS!! You'll still be able to get the game on PS3. It's not the end of the world. It was a very smart business move on Squenix's part and you need to get over it.

How is it not a loss? If PS3 still had Resident Evil, GTA, FF13 all exclusive the xbox would have serious trouble now. FF13 is one of the biggest rpgs out there and only getting it on one console is a plus. Getting it on either makes ps3 sales hurt just a bit and gives people just one less reason to doubt buying sony and buy xbox. Its not the end of the world, but it is a huge punch in the face. Get realistic. If Resistance 2, Killzone, and GOW went to 360 also im sure you would be saying the same thing.

Sony never had Resident Evil. The first one I think was for the Saturn, the second was available on N64, Code Veronica for Dreamcast and 4 was for Gamecube first. The GTA games were eventually available on Xbox too.

What gives? Why did this happen? PS2 has been so good to FF series...I just don't understand...

Sony better announce price cut...that is all they have...they have no other game that would have saved their franchise...and I don't want to hear Resistance 2 or Motorstorm 2...FF13 was PS3's savior...otherwise, it will be like Toshiba looking like a deer in a headlight...

I feel like I've been punched in the stomach. I hope losing FF13 won't effect the quality of the PS3 version.

I expect Sony to come out with announcments such as:
We'll release Home someday...
Killzone 2 has been put on hold...
We've decided to hand the rest of the Playstation catalog over to M$...
Little Big Planet is now a 360 exclusive...

- Bioshock 2 exclusive

- GeOW2 and Halo 4 port

- GOW3 in game trailer

- KZ2 demo to go live soon

- HOME to have a set bloody date, August 1

- www.bungie.com count to be something out of this world

- Huge huge huge exclusive announcments.

- Jak and Daxter 5

Seriously it was always on Sony. Those systems didnt have every resident evil game consistently like sony did. Yeah 64 and gamecube had 2 and 4 but where was 1 and 3? Please dont be nitpicky and try to belittle me or make my post seem like its nonsense with your facts that wasnt the point of my post. Respond to the point I was making. What are you talking about?

The First RE was on two systems(PS1 and Saturn) The PS1 version was better.

RE:2 was exclusive to the PS2 for some time and then ported over to the N64

RE: Nemesis was exclusive to the PS1

RE: Code Veronica was on the PS2

I agree that PS3 has a lack of RPG but just be patient, PS3 got games like White Knight (Level 5), new Ico game, Valkyria Chronicles (Sega)... and I'm pretty sure FF XIII will be the best version on the PS3 just like GTA IV and DMC 4 according to IGN's review.

There is more chance of Bioshock 2 going exlcusive than there was for FFXIII going multi, oh gee look what happen.

Its unimportant to the point I was making. The point was if MS didnt have RE, FF13, GTA where would they be?
