Fox will do anything to keep what they have from falling back to Marvel. The only question is if FF disappoints, how big a loss Fox will stomach before they decide it is not worth it.

I'm still surprised Marvel doesn't fight them over the rights, with all the changes made to the story. We might as well call the film FFINO, because the character names, abilities, and title are the only things being kept.

No. You are not allowed to see it in theaters at all. And that's final. Well, unless you promise to spread how bad it was too anyone who asks. And tell them it'll be better when Marvel takes over.

Some of the changes being made sound like it's an adaptation of the Ultimate Fantastic Four comic which was very good for the first thirty or so issues.

Well, having the Negative Zone existing is a good sign for those outerspacey characters in future films - I dont know how they could reinterpret Galactus in a worse way than a storm cloud.

I'll stay far away from this film. Just hoping when Marvel gets the rights back for the entire The Fantastic Four property we'll be having an awesome romp in a similar vein to the cosmic, dimensional, and space-venturing Walt Simonson comics.
At least FOX is going well with the X-MEN series and this is the third time they've gotten The Fantastic Four incorrect.

The Marvel properties outside of Disney should band together in one film universe. Fox and Sony could work together to integrate their characters like Marvel has at Disney.

Wolverine versus Spider-Man? Yes, please.

They then team up to take on...the real Doctor Doom.
