I am having a problem!

I have downloaded all the drivers, and everything is up to date. CyberLink am I ready gives me all green lights.

BUT, on both my monitor and tv the image looks more like an upconvert than anything. I have tried "The Departed" and "Pirates of the Car... III"

Any suggestions as to what I need to do?
