I would like to have Halloween 2 and Halloween 4 on Blu-Ray. Those 2 I liked the best of The Halloween sequels. Heck It would be nice if Universal,Anchorbay, and Dimension joined forces and do the Ultimate Halloween box set on Blu-Ray?Have all 8 movies plus the remake in one box. That would be so cool.

2, 4,5 and 6. I hate the other 3. Halloween is my second favorite series ever but I will not buy the other 3.

It has only been available via bootleg but I would love to see the producer's cut of Halloween 6 on Blu-ray. While I like the normal version of Halloween 6 this other version is even better.

Theatrical or producer's cut, I think "Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers" is undoubtedly tied for worst "Halloween" sequel with the third, fourth, fifth and eighth installments.

I agree. The 6th one made no since. What was up with Myers hanging out with those Doctors anyways?
I remember when 6 was coming out I was thrilled because we was finaly going to find out who the man in Black was in the 5th film. And what a disapointment it was when we found who it was.I thought for sure it was going to be a relative just as messed up as Michael? And what was the story behind Jamies baby anyways? I read somewhere that was Michaels baby-You meen to tell me that Michael inpregnated his own niece? I just dont get it.
Still for some reason I have watched the 6th one alot over the years. It did have some good moments in the movie despite it not making anysince.
As for H20 Sorry I think that one could of been alot better too.And I hated how they ignored 4-6. Its to bad that they could not of got John Carpenter back for the 20th anniversary movie. But I know John never wanted to do any sequels to the classic first film.

I thought the hospital in Halloween II was wierd. There seem to be hardly anyone there. Are hospitals realy like that on The Night Shift? Do they realy dim the lights in the place at night? I know it's just a movie.
The one scene that always grosses me in out in Halloween II was the scene where the kid had the razor blade stuck in his mouth.Man that would suck!
And I cant watch the eye scene either.

I'm one of the few people who love Halloween III, so I'd like that the most.

(Can't wait for all of the sequels to come to Blu!)

I would also buy Halloween III before any of the other films. It's a yearly tradition to watch that movie in my house. I might also buy the first two. I watched the remaining sequels and didn't care for them at all.

I concur. The hospital seemed severely understaffed, especially during a holiday night with the potential of many accidents plus the lighting was ridiculous--no hospital is lighted like that even in the dead of night. I understand it was all done for effect, but still.

I do enjoy the Halloween series immensely. In my opinion, it is the best horror series out of the main three--Nightmare, and Friday included. However, at this point, I'd probably only purchase Halloween H20 and MAYBE Halloween 2. I do enjoy 4 and 5, but I'm not sure I'd buy them on Blu just yet.

I doubt H20 would get any release soon as Buena Vista still hasn't put the popular Scream-Trilogy on Blu Ray yet.

Just saw Halloween III last night on Cinemax HD. I thought the PQ on it was excellent. Now Universal needs to just release it.

As much as I want it, I doubt it's very high on Universal's top priorities list. It'll probably be a few years...

I almost agree with you, but I keep reading about the earlier movies being prepped for release. Makes me wonder. This may not qualify as a Carpenter Halloween movie though, since it was a completely different theme, so maybe this will get left out.

Yeah. I think Universal would release Halloween II before III if they decide to release any of them. While III may be a good film as a standalone film outside of the Myers saga (I've never seen it...), it still has a very bad reputation and isn't well liked by many due to it being the one film in the series that's not based around Myers. I'm not saying that's justified or fair, but it is what it is.

True, it does get dogged pretty harshly. But I wonder if that's because it doesn't have Michael Myers in it. On a side note though, IMO, it does have the best soundtrack of any of them.

I've had many discussions with other Halloween fans, and Micheal Myers' absence seems to be the number one reason why they don't like it (which is unfair). And yes, the soundtrack is amazing.
