I could certainly be wrong, I have been wrong plenty before, this is just my current belief (3 characters isn't the norm and would be impractical for most). I doubt the regular player spends time on forums discussing the game at length. Again, that's my opinion though.
We just have differing views of the "regular" player. I think your regular player is the casual player. Regular players, to me, are like regulars at the bar, and play regularly, like most of the guys who regularly post in this forum, those with 50+ posts, maybe? Hardcore players, now, some hook up two PS4's, so they can play solo-coop, and others get up at 4 am and play before work, or stay up until 230 am playing then get up for work at 530 am, while others don't have to go to a regular job and pull double shifts in Destiny, and others sneak around behind the wife's back. They know who they are.

Yea, I'm at work right now also. I only infrequently check the forum when at home. Like between crucible matches.

Yes, to me the regular player is the "most common" one, which would probably also be called a casual player. I do not think of myself as a casual player, even if I have less hours than many here probably (Destiny app says 9d 9h 45min, so ~226 hrs).

That's it? I might be approaching 400 hours by now. Who knows.

I'm a regular player I guess, but I don't need to sneak around to play.

You guys long ago passed me, I retired at 400 hours. But as long as you're still enjoying it, keep at it.

Looking at some of those stats on the app is interesting . I have 252 hours in Destiny and 74 of those are patrol mission. I guess I like farming.

I'm raiding with the Blu- brothers tonight. Usually around 10:30-11:00 cst when we finish. We start around 8:30. I could start one earlier or any time Thursday, Friday Saturday or > 8:00 cst on Wednesday.
I'll do Crota or VOG, Cheese or no cheese. Hold the Pickles.

I'm hoping for the same, actually. I can't see them giving everyone a weapon even though many of us non-elitists could use a Ghorn.

Nope. On one month now and no inclination in the slightest. I rediscovered the two hobbies I discarded when I started playing, so no desire to start playing again.
