I unfortunately will also probably be getting this from Sanborns in Mexico as well. I received Planes: Fire & Rescue 3D and Need for Speed 3D today from them to add to my Maleficent from Mexico and Frozen from UK. This is getting old and frustrating. Especially where you can't seem to get a clear answer from the company about this where they are the only studio doing this and only in the USA. I am thinking about going to the shareholder meeting to ask CEO Bob Iger about this directly.

Even though they are in Spanish, I like the fact that the ones from Mexico come with slipcovers- and my order from Sanborns came with free DHL Express. It shipped Sun/Mon and arrived yesterday (Wed). And the blu-ray cases aren't the funky, wider UK cases - they are the clear 3D blu-ray cases.

Film doesn't open here in the UK til end of January, so will be end of May/June time on blu.

Love that cover. But why can't you import this one ?

EDIT: Yeah it seems they do not ship to other countries. Well thats rather dumb of them and its even amazon so that is eve more weird

I was speaking with a friend, and he was telling me that Disney actually got the rights from the Big Hero 6 author and *not* Marvel, so it's technically not a Marvel release/property. I don't know if he's right, but that would make sense that it won't be released in 3D in North America.

Yup, totally did! He was a bit unfamiliar with it and reasons why but got my contact info after to put me in direct contact with the right person who should know better - or at least that I could voice my questions and concerns with directly. We'll see what I can find and hopefully get a better answer on this!
