Robocop is a classic. Remaking it would be a tragedy to film. You can not possible remake Robocop any better than the original. You can't top the origin story and the way his human side gets wasted in the beginning. Yes, it is partially cheesy as it is from the 80s but that is what makes it so great. The Robocop world already has so many outlets for new stories that spending time on origin again in a new movie would just be a waste of time. imo of course

Anyway, I think a new Robocop sequel based movie is a good idea. Imagine how awesome the big machines from the past Robocop movies could look today.
