Would anyone recommend The Driver as a blind buy? I've never seen it, and am torn between making that or Philadelphia my fifth title.

Yes, I would thoroughly recommend it. A fantastic 70s crime flick.

Blind bought it when it came out from TT a couple years ago, and have found it to be one of my favorite movies.

Working fine for me although I'm not actually going for it. At 4:01 it's already counting down to under 35 copies remaining.

Edit: And they're gone at 4:08:55. Good luck to those who didn't have it or those who wanted the signature.

I was there, I had it pulled up and I couldn't convince myself that I really needed an autographed copy.

Managed to get the signed Blob but I had a hard time coming up with enough decent movies (generally, it has to have at least a 50% favorable rating on RottenTomatoes or I don't intend to purchase it) to qualify ($179.75 with shipping).

You only needed to buy $149.75 worth of movies to get a copy of The Blob.

And I'm guessing Our Man Flint was one of the movies that most people bought, as it went down to four copies remaining with this sale.

Autographed copy went up a minute early. Got mine in.

I didn't like the new $150 limit, because that meant 6 titles, but when they lowered it to $149.75 so you could get it with 5 titles, I felt like that was a good offer for a signed OOP title. I'm also short on cash now, so $180+ would have been hefty. That said, I hope they don't move to $150 as the standard for signed promos. I usually like to only buy things I imagine I'd rewatch multiple times, and several TT titles were uncertain to meet that criterion, but at $100, they were getting me to bite in order to get something special. But at $150, I won't overcome that reluctance unless it's a title I'm really excited about along with a signature I really care about.
