This first score TD wins it works for regular season when you still have a lot left and want to limit injuries. Not good for playoffs imo.

I've always thought either both teams should get the ball in OT regardless of whether a TD is scored or just go the full 15 minutes of OT regardless of who scores.

Yep, that's my preference. Just play entire quarter. At the very least both teams should have at least one possession.

I'd even be ok with each team gets a possession (barring a Safety/TO for score) but yah, I think I'd prefer a full quarter.

I think if Seattle wins the Super Bowl Carroll will become the first coach to win two college football national titles and two Super Bowls. Not a lot of great college coaches are successful in the NFL.
