Interested in Gangs of Wasseypur.

I own this indian Wasseypur box-set which is marred by disappointing picture quality.

I hope the Cinelicious version will improve on this transfer.

(btw; will Cinelicious releases be region locked?)

I'm glad I skipped the awful Indian release of Gangs of Wasseypur and the German release that had a good transfer but no English subtitles. I'll be buying this for sure.

Direct from the boss-man... "It (our Gangs release) will be sourced from the DCDM 2K 16-bit TIFF masters. I can't comment vs other releases."

I believe it will be region A/1 only.

Thank you for giving this release the treatment it deserved! Can we expect more Cinelicous releases from the Anurag Kashyap catalog??

While we don’t have any immediate plans to release another Anurag Kashyap film, we certainly aren’t ruling anything out! We’re all huge fans of Anurag’s work here at Cinelicious Pics.

Dev D would be a good choice, the current Indian BD is above average at best.

Our 4K restoration of Belladonna of Sadness announced in Fantastic Fest Second Wave Of Programming! If you're in or are going to be in the Austin area be sure to check it out! Once specific dates/times are announced I'll be sure to share that info here.

So what's this got to do with blu-ray? It just means we're getting closer and closer to it finally being announced and released!

Created a new side-by-side video for our Belladonna of Sadness restoration. Enjoy! Wider theatrical release later this year and VOD and blu-ray coming in 2016!

PS - Please share the link and news about Bella! The more successful this release is the better the chances are we'll get to do more restorations like this one!

Thanks!
