Agreed. I'll go one step further. A little patience is required with almost everything in life. But sadly, very few people seem to have that particular trait any more.

SAE is very reliable...I've had about 20 orders shipped to me in Canada with no problem.

There's an undeniable randomness in shipping orders. I used to be at the top of the list; then I slipped to the bottom. . Once again it's pretty much luck of the draw but I always get my stuff.

There is really no point in sending emails to SAE but people seem to do this with every round of releases. The processes is not speeded up when SAE's limited staff is on the computer answering mail instead of addressing packages. Folks just need to wait. They'll get their stuff eventually. I've had orders ship and arrive in 1 week...or 4 weeks! And all the emails in the world won't make it any faster.

A little patience is required when ordering from SAE!
While I like TT (and love some of their releases), SAE's website and shipping are circa 1998. I always feel like I'm ordering from someone operating out of their basement.

It's a product of the times, people wanting instant gratification. I remember as a kid sending away for stuff and they'd tell you that it would take 6-8 weeks to arrive. By the time it would get here, I'd have forgotten all about it. Now that was a sweet surprise.

That was back when you can get the Sears Wish Book & other companies books to order from. At that time for me the best parts of those was the bicycles you can get or the Ghostbusters toys.

I remember cars getting 12 miles to a gallon of gas and 25" tvs that weighed 150 pounds.

Times change and consumer expectations quite reasonably change with them.

Darn, "Bandit Queen" appears to have burned in subs.
https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...0&postcount=14

I pre-ordered this TT-title on jan. 1st. Still waiting patiently for my parcel to arrive.

Not happy with paying a premium for a disc with burned-in subs.

Just another observation but did TT go back to the Viva Elite cases for the latest round of releases? It seems, based on posted photos, that The Bride Wore Black used a Viva case. I know early last year when they switched to the generic cases, to go away from the eco-cases, TT mentioned that they had ordered enough cases for the remainder of the year. Assuming that was correct this would be the time to switch if the existing supply had been exhausted.

The Viva Elite cases have the rounded corners, don't they? I got a couple of the Jan. 20th titles (Breaking Away and The Purple Rose of Cairo), and they both have the newer cases with the square edges.

Yes, they do. They also have the Viva Elite logo on the bottom left on the side of the case where the disc is housed.

In that case then they haven't switched back to Viva Elite (at least not with the two titles I received), since they don't say "Elite" in the case and the edges are still square.

Funny now that I recall, I ordered a 100 Elite cases last year, to replace eco cases and also to replace TT releases with the square cases (which I never got around to since I got used to the new ones, lol).

In the Fright Night thread people are reporting getting a clear case with that release, I'm sure it's because it's a re-release.

I think so as well. First re-release and first non-blue case. Besides the other releases of that month are regular blue cases. But like rdodolak said, we'll find out for sure when Journey re-release comes out in a couple of months.

Has anyone said if Journey will be a 3 or 5,000 pressing?
