There, see? Not so bad. Looks very much part of the X-MEN universe.

I'm afraid I have to say, based on trailers alone, I'm more worried about ANT-MAN than this.

Oh man, I was hoping this being good would have been a last minute surprise when it came to release, the fact that the trailer makes it look good spoils all the fun now.

Either all of those "rumors" were originated by people trying to shun audiences away from the new film, or Fox just pulled the biggest troll in film history. "The new Fantastic Four will be found footage..."

Decent trailer I suppose...but we get barely any actual dialog from the film which helps making a crap movie look better in a trailer much easier.

Not that the movie will definitely be crap, but I've made no secret of the fact that I have zero expectations for this to be good (outside of Mara and Kebbell). I will be quite happy if it turns out to be however.

See, judging by the trailer it doesn't look so bad. Also, Philip Glass?! Well, now I'm kinda interested.

Very uninspired teaser. It look very generic and doesn't fit the mood of the F4 at all. I guess it isn't as bad as it could have been but it's still bad.

Doesn't look particularly ground breaking or exciting, but as a teaser it's alright, it has potential to be good. It had the serious tone that I was expecting. The only things that are at all a little off for me are that cheesy close-up of Michael B. Jordan and the look of The Thing isn't quite perfect, sorta off-model. If I had to guess the Tomatometer right now I'd predict between 60-75%.

Based on trailers only, Fantastic Four looks better than Ant-Man if I'm being honest.

Sorry, I'm not impressed with that trailer and I'm still skeptical this will be as good as it should be.

First of all, Fox seems to think that if they edit and narrate the trailer in a formula much like they did with the trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past, this might bring the same level of interest. I'm just speculating here, but I can't see any other reason why they'd make this trailer with the same exact vibe that DOFP had -- Sorry, repeated performance doesn't necessarily mean repeated success. But that's just a minor criticism, considering they made us wait so long for this trailer and it doesn't do anything to really sell me on it.

Secondly, I'm not getting enough of a unique style (or even a supposed Cronenberg style) with the images of this film: It's the same dark shadows and blue lighting that a lot sci-fi movies have today. But even Prometheus and Star Trek Into Darkness had vibrant colors in contrast to the drab atmosphere. I'm just not seeing that here. Just as suspected, it's the same bland color pallete as Chronicle. But hey, that's just me nitpicking the cinematography. I only do it because this is supposed to be The Fantastic Four, which should be a more brighter, fun and adventurous superhero movie.

But really... my biggest complaint is that it doesn't convince me that it's a Fantastic Four movie at all! If I had seen this trailer blindly without knowing what it was supposed to be, I would never have thought this is FF. I wanted to be surprised in a good way with this trailer -- I really did -- but nothing has changed for me on how I think this movie will turn out. Maybe we can just chalk it all up to poor marketing on Fox's part, but I think it's simply because at the end of the day, whatever material they have for this movie's trailer just isn't all that stellar as it should be.

It looks awesome - seems to fit nicely with X-Men universe. Felt a bit like the teaser to Watchmen which is a good thing.

Thing looks amazing.

Sue looks good full blond.

Teller and Jordan seem good.

It's just a teaser and it was a great one.

I didn't think the trailer was terrible, but it didn't show me anything either. 2 seconds of the group in costume facing away. WOW!!! It looked fairly generic so far.
