I know this will sound sacrilegious, but if they must make a new one, time to recast. Action and stunts are a big part of these films, and I don't want to see Indy just sitting on the sidelines, or Ford crippling himself.

In order to successfully reboot this franchise, it'll take a lead actor that can not only handle the physicality involved in the role but bring the same self-effacing humor to it that Ford did. I think Pratt is a great choice for this based on his turn as Star Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy. I don't think this is simply a matter of picking a hot actor out of a hat at all.

I'm still not sure how I feel about rebooting this franchise. I one hand, I know that it is most likely the only way we're going to see a continuation of it. On the other, I'm not sure it's worth the risk. I'm certain Disney will reboot it however because money.

I always thought that Josh Hartnett had the look of a younger Harrison Ford.

I like Chris Pratt...a lot actually...but I wouldn't be happy with him as Indy.

I thought it the moment I saw Guardians of the Galaxy, and was sure when I saw him in his Jurassic World costume.

This is one of those that just won't work. There's nobody able to replace characters like this. It's just like Jack Sparrow or Ace Ventura, characters defined by the actors who play them. There's no point in casting another actor and using the brand. Make a new adventure with a new character, for god sakes.

Pratt is a great choice, and the reception the idea is getting so far has been met with open arms. If I was Lucasfilm, I'd make the deal happen as soon as possible, because the majority of fans seem to be really ok with the idea.

Josh Hartnett is very handsome, but he is a bit of a charisma void. Never seen him in anything where he really impressed me, he just lacks drive.

Nathan Fillion is an actor who I always thought would have deserved more of a career. He already did a great Han Solo impression on Firefly/Serenity and I think he'd make a great Indy.

I'd be fine with Pratt though, he was great fun in Guardians of the Galaxy and I'm sure he can tone down the shtick.

Just as long as Lucas stays out of it.

If you had asked me about rebooting Indiana Jones this morning, I would have said "Of course not...It's ONLY Harrison Ford for the part" (Phoenix playing young Indy notwithstanding....and I don't count the young Indy adventures they also did).

Throw up Pratt's name and that photoshop...and I'm already on board because it just 'clicked' perfectly in my brain.
