Vudu Digital 3D List by Studio - Blu-ray Forum

I just posted this in the UV, iTunes, or both thread, but I didn't realize this thread was here, and I think this is actually better suited here so I'll repost here.

Question about the Edge of Tomorrow UV code:

I was going to enter the UV code from my 3D combo pack in my Vudu account. When I searched for EoT under the "Redeem Ultraviolet Copy" option in the "Services" menu, I saw that there were 3 versions of EoT (EoT, EoT Digital Card, and EoT 3D).

Are there any differences between these 3 options?

Does the 3D on the EoT 3D option indicate that you got your code from a 3D combo, or that it will actually give you a 3D digital copy? Or both, that it will give you a 3D digital copy but only if you enter a code that came from a 3D combo pack?

I also have a code card for the same movie (from a 2D combo, I think) that a friend gave me and it provides a Flixster based link (mine has both Vudu and Flixster links since I bought it from WM). I almost entered the code from my friends 2D combo pack since I didn't think there was any difference.

So, does it matter which EoT option you choose on Vudu (regular, digital card or 3D)? And does it matter which code you enter (i.e. one from a 3D combo vs. one from a 2D combo)?

If there is a chance of getting the 2D/3D digital combo pack (I did a quick search on Vudu and see that is one of the options), I want to make sure I do this correctly.

Actually, now that I've read through this thread, I guess I also have another question. Was I supposed to get a 3D Instawatch copy of this? I never did and I bought this at WM. I've only ever gotten 1 Instawatch DC, for Red 2 when I did a ship to store order of that.

From looking through this thread, I'm now thinking that redeeming the code from the insert inside my combo pack will only give me the 2D DC, but the Instawatch should have given me the 3D version.

Is that correct? If so, since I never got my Instawatch copy, is that something easily fixed by contacting WM CS and sending them a copy of my receipt?
