I remember several times when people started threads for highly anticipated films and people didn't complain, street date or no (e.g. Boyhood, Gone Girl, Interstellar, Birdman).

As for release information, does that matter? I notice there is no information about MoC's upcoming release of The Offence, but somebody has started a thread anyway. It shouldn't matter - if anything it's helpful to let people know there are pre-orders up!

Also, it comes out tomorrow...are you implying you wouldn't complain if I had posted this tomorrow instead? Another benefit is that people can get a more UK-specific response to the film. On the general film thread, it'll mostly be US viewers who most of whom would have seen the film months ago. I haven't done anything outrageous by making this thread, have I?
