Nah, you can get away with 2 31s once you get the hang of it. Have 1 at boomer watch and other at rocket.

I’d be down for a hard crota at some point if you guys are on this weekend. It’s a little rough for me this weekend though…..it’s my daughters birthday on Sunday. Tonight we have plans to go out, tomorrow night we’re having family over for her birthday, Saturday we’re having her friends over for her birthday, Sunday morning I have to get some business stuff started, Sunday afternoon is my nephew’s birthday party at my sister’s.

As long as you're only counting on the boomer guy to agro the boomers, as a 31 will take forever bringing one down. It also means you'll be short at the start killing Knights and acolytes, as they'll be useless. Once you have a team that can consistently beat Crota on hard, you can probably cary a 31 through. Two 31's would be near impossible unless the 32's are MLG-level players...which I certainly am not.

what's boomer watch entail for your group? we had luck just dropping a bubble on the right platform and having bubble boy draw aggro.

Yea our boomer guy didn't kill them just distracts them.

Yea we don't use bubble we just have boomer distract. Think he kills one then toys around with the other. Once second pops kill the other guy then poke the new guy.

Thanks for trying. We sent out 6 or 7 invites I think

I still need to run through one more time with my warlock... Would need a bit of hand-holding still as its only at lvl 27, but I do decent damage with the burns

That is very true, but not too much needs to be worried about, in my opinion (at least with the strategy we use).

After leaving the initial room, you can spend the first two swords on the middle platform where the Swordbearer must be taken down, nades must be spammed to clear a path for the sword runner, and Crota must be DPSed with Heavy Rockets and Machine Guns.

The only issue one runs into is getting into the Ogre room and back up to the middle platform once Crota rotates again from the left to the middle.

my last post got buried, i won't be able to play until Saturday night at the earliest.

so you guys go ahead and find someone to take along with you in my place.

i'm mainly wanting to do a full raid w/my Hunter each week and try to get him boots yet. possibly a helmet too if Xur doesn't sell one tomorrow.
