Here is a VHS inspired DVD cover I did for The Roost, I know the pics on the back are a little low-res but they are the best I could find to work with. This is actually a little tease for a "Retro VHS inspired" mini-collection that I am going to have Nissen do for me soon

This movie isn't on Blu-ray anywhere that I am aware of so that's why it's DVD only. I know that Paramount/Showtime released the DVD of this but I think the MGM style looked so much better and it was the easiest for me to work with so I chose to go with it

I hear you. Nobody does the VHS retro-style better than Nissen.

I produced a "Never Say Never Again" VHS retro conversion a few years back and it can be a fun challenge redoing art made for a DVD release to effectively sit into a blu-ray size, still it was very rewarding and very well received.

I often do covers for movies that do not exist in Blu-ray yet. I did a Blu-ray cover for the movie "High Road to China" several years ago before it was even on DVD. When it was finally released on Blu-ray one of the users of this site alerted me to the fact that the distributor was using my custom in promotional material - which I felt was a great compliment.

Indeed the cover I am working on now "When Eight Bells Toll" has never had a DVD release in the United States. The DVD I have is the Region 2 British release.

Hey,
I know quite a few have already done custom covers for the Bruce Lee Legacy blu rays, but has anyone made one for the DVDs in the set? I know thats kinda weird

I just popped a DVD in (Fist of Fury) to compare to the BD, definite difference in colour palette - much less green over the image and Bruce's suit is actual white so the image didnt look bad at all.

to match the cover of the Extended Cut of Boondock Saints 2.

Wow that's really good. It's so much better then the standard cover.

I know in a older post you mentioned working on Season 2 of Agents of Shield, but I forgot if you mentioned working on a Season 1 of Agent Carter ?

Hey, Guys & Dolls! I just finished my 1st custom BD cover, I decided to do one of my all-time favorite Horror films... Friday the 13th The Final Chapter!
I hate most studio BD covers and decided to make one the way I think they should look. This custom BD cover was inspired by the VHS cover from way back, I changed some things, but it still resembles the original cover. If you'd like a copy of one of these,... just PM me and let me know if you want style A, B or C.
I am also working on the other custom BD covers for the rest of the Friday the 13th films.
