EMS explains why you got it so fast. It's obviously faster shipping and it was rushed through customs faster, would explain the possible lack of updating tracking info imo.

Yeah you're probably right, although ive received like 7-8 orders from Kimchi using EMS and those averaged like 7-9 days at least. I probably just got a little lucky on this one.

woulda got this, but with that GIGANTIC "3D" right in the center of both the slip and the steel, the studio can shove it.

it's on my shelf already, but i like the full package. i just don't want to be forced to buy into 3D just because I like to collect steelbooks.

You aren't being forced into buying 3D just because you like to collect steelbooks, because you have the Target steelbook. If you want the 'full package', which is a lot more than just a steelbook, then it seems to me that 'full package' would by definition include a 3D disc.

I'm grateful Edge of Tomorrow was released as a steelbook at all, considering the terrible performance at the box office.

So my EOT lenti showed up today and it's pretty damn nice looking and having #1 for the numbering doesn't hurt either lol. I like how when it's sealed up with the sticker, the sticker covers up the 3d part on the lenti.

here we go again with the ol "you aren't being forced" spiel.

I want the best collector's edition, and I shouldn't have to pay extra for 3D. There have been many threads and posts discussing this in more detail elsewhere so I really don't feel like rehashing it all here.
