Well overall I'd argue Montana has much better teams around him. Joe Montana had a lot of great players on offense for a prolonged period of time, including the best WR of all-time. The Patriots seem to just plug in new receivers every couple years. The only constant for the Patriots over this 15~ years is Brady, unlike Montana who had so many greats for so long.

The only thing "flawless in Super Bowls" means is Montana's teams lost before making it to 6 like Brady has.

While I obviously would have preferred to be at the game it was fun watching it at the Mirage sportsbook. There was probably 10 times as many Seahawks fans there than Patriots so that made it even sweeter, and I won about $300 betting on the Patriots to win.

I don't know what was more mind boggling:

The Seattle passing play at the end or the toenail fungus medicine that paid for a spot during the game?

What exactly is the league apologizing for? Investigating a rule violation to see if it was done on purpose or a coincidence?

I'm still sweating after that one. Blast me with all you have but I'm a Jaguars fan and always had a spot for the Cardinals and Patriots. That being said, after that last Seahawks reception I was already going to call this one of the best games I've seen but starting with that first down on the last Seattle possession, it became simply epic. The miracle catch, the interception, the inability to kneel, the brawl, it was all a culmination of why we watch this sport. Absolutely incredible game. I may, just may pick up the blu of this one. It will go down in NFL history as one of the best,

They've yet to prove a rule violation ever happened, much less how the story ever came to be.

Irsay will take the fall for this before some imaginary locker room attendant.

So what should the league apologize for? It's the media that fueled the story, not the NFL. The NFL wouldn't have anything to apologize for even if the Patriots were cleared.

It wasn't a national ad, just select local markets.

That's just it and it shows how stupid this entire story has gone.

It's not even about truth anymore so much as it is about who is going to take "the fall".
