Hard only drops the scout, hand cannon and crux. Secondaries and heavies only drop from normal.

I haven't played with it much since I got it, but it reminds me of the VOC with out full auto.

Don't forget Oversoul Edict and Abyss Defiant. I actually really like the AR and both are easy to get from lamps and bridge.

Yeah, I didn't include them, as I thought we were talking about Crota fight only drops. The Abyss Defiant is a great gun. The stability perk with the slow shooting is beautiful (almost makes up for the SUROS that I do not have).

As far as the two Oversoul Edicts I got, I am now the proud owner of 6 Radiant Energies.

That's easy to say if you run with the same few people all the time. If you're using LFG then 9 times out of 10 if you don't get him in a few tries someone will just rage quit ruining it for everyone else.

It doesn't help that about 4 times now Crota has had now health bar left and there's been a wipe instead of us winning.

gotcha.....didn't know if the auto rifle was a crota only drop or not.

can't believe you haven't gotten a Hunger of Crota.....i've gotten 4 of them already.

i have the Abyss Defiant and SUROS.....the impact is higher on the SUROS.....which i like better personally.

Oh for sure, raiding with a fireteam week in and week out is so helpful. Its pretty automatic as we each know each others next move pretty much. Baileys next move is always something dumb

I can't believe I haven't gotten the Hunger of Crota, either.

I've gotten 1 Black Hammer, 1 Light of the Abyss, 3 Songs of Ir Yut, and 2 Swordbreakers from Normal. Most of the time I've played Normal, though, I've gotten a ship or shards. One time I did get the Hunter Helmet, but I dismantled it due to thinking I'd never use it and then I learned of the Don't Touch Me Gloves (plus the fact I got the Titan and Warlock helmets from Hard last week pisses me off even more).

crota hard is all about finding a competent sword bearer. the rest of it isn't bad if you've all got rockets. you can use the ammo glitch with icebreaker if you are low on heavy synths. i found that since i dont have any health regen, i just play it safe and go invisible whenever we're moving from the middle room to the outside or to/from the ogre room

i've tried using the sword as a hunter but either the timing is off or i can't escape after the second 3 hits even though i'm invisible.

i've heard that you should always make the swordbearer the host, since any lag will screw up your timing.

im working on leveling up the hunger of crota, ive been using a 331 rocket that doesnt have tracking, but has find more ammo perk which is nice.

Hey, there. Let me attempt to clear some things up here.

Xur is randomized. There are times when we can pull off miracles like making him stay in the Tower longer when Christmas is cancelled, but his inventory is governed by the same chaos that influences all the loot drops.

Comments in that video about "the plan" were more about the fact that we know what he's selling before he appears, even if we can't reach out and stock his shelves ourselves. We set him in motion, and his will is not his own.

Also in that video, you can hear me confessing that I'm not always in the loop when it comes to these things, so you should take pre-game lobby comments among friends with a grain of salt. That video was from months ago, and I was still learning the intricacies of all the new systems that we launched with the game.

These conspiracy theories are symptoms of a burning desire. Gjallarhorn is the most popular ask that comes my way. I know you want it, even more than the collective requests for more vault space. As you can see, these are things that are beyond my control. I don't have one either.

I'll do my best to talk to the people who create the code that drives Xur, and see if we can make him more valuable to you in the future.
