Unless it's new, it's most likely due to the fact that it's an LCD TV, and they ALL have ghosting problems (YES, even the over-hyped 120 hz displays). Calibrating can help a little, but there's no reason to believe a surge protector or new cable would make it less "ghosty".
I suppose to ease your mind you could try another HDMI cable, but your best bet would be to calibrate it. It will never go away, but could get a little better. If it gets worse or is REALLY noticeable, it may be a service issue with your TV. |
