Really? I just put in an order of them a couple days ago and they should be arriving in a few days. I love Toxsic's work. I've seen Metrock's and while people seem pleased with his work, there seems to be a lot less "floppiness" and looseness in Toxsic's slips and they seem to conform to the cases much better.

yeah. toxsic can't be beat, really great work. i just wanted to offer my client a few options and toxsic's thread said no slipcovers at the moment, but i'm not sure whether or not that is current.

This is one of my favorite threads. I love the great work of the professionals here and I also like the creativity of the casual enthusiasts. I believe both have been co-existing here very well. Please let it continue. Just my $0.02 from a layman's perspective.

Please dont leave the thread mate, I like to see your work. But try not to post one pic per post, try to put like, 5 or 6 in one post, but using the spoiler tag.

And as I work on continuing to spruce up my collection:

lomadu's Wrong Turn cover:

Sukie's Boogeyman cover, which I used to house my DVDs for the trilogy:

And finally, donidarko's cover for the TCM 40th Anniversary release:

My favourite of yours yet, by far. I'm a big Hellraiser fan and that front cover is grimey. I'd have a hard time deciding between this one and Lomadu's. Both are great! On another note...I'll just throw in a note expressing how badly there needs to be an all inclusive Hellraiser box set released!

Default Breaking Away

Here's my remake of Twilight Time's Breaking Away. This release is actually one of their better covers, but I've remade every Twilight Time cover I have, so no need to stop now . Uploaded at EuphoricFX.org, or send me a PM with email if you want a copy.

Just want to publicly support your work and state that your posts are more than welcome here. There are no set "standards" of work to live up to, and even if there were your work would hold its own. We all had to start somewhere, and don't let anyone else's opinion keep you away. I say feel free to post as much as you like and as often as you like.

I don't even know if I will be allowing Nissen to share any of the future covers I plan on having him do because the people here are getting really rude to members that are doing there best and making covers that they like and decide to share them here with everyone. Just as long as you dont show it then. One thing I personally hate is the look at me look at me, lookie what I got posts. First thing I say when I commision a cover is..please share with everyone else. And sukie keep it up, I dont use your covers personally but dont mind seeing them at all.

I agree with Nissen all the way! When I first started in DVD covers, I was harassed to the point of not wanting to make them anymore (I was told my covers were nothing more than cookie cutter and not custom enough for a particular website which no longer exists). That is why I was very timid about posting my CBS customs here. I personally love your approach to covers Sukie, and enjoyed seeing the different artwork you found for each movie/series. Just my two cents worth.

I tried posting this a couple of weeks ago but it got stuck in some pending approval dimensional rift so I figured now that there are a few more posts to my name I might be able to make posts with images now...

So I decided to do my first attempt at making a cover and I've just a few questions, in hopes that someone with actual graphic design skills could give me some pointers.

Adolescence of Utena film: WORK IN PROGRESS

Everything here I've edited, so nothing except the character art I cut out is in it's original form but is ALL taken from Official franchise artwork. Please ignore the credits and spec info etc. at the bottom of the back- that's all stuff left from the template because I'm not sure what to do in that regard yet.

I was having trouble finding a font for the back that looks alright, at the moment I'm okay with it but that might be because I've seen how much worse it was earlier :P. The synopsis is kind of weird but it's taken directly from the back of the Australian DVD release.
Also I'm thinking of putting a tagline or reviewer's quote or something above the synopsis to fill in that gap- alternatively what else could I put in to fill up the back a bit better? I was also considering putting a line of text on the front too but I really don't know.

To summarise I'm hoping I can get some suggestions to better develop the back from the people here who better know what they're doing. I'm quite proud of what I've got so far but I know it's far from flawless.
I am happy to share this with any fans of the film if they think it's any good- but I'm not doing so until I've created a final product with which I'm satisfied. I hope that's understandable.

Hey, guys. First of all, hello everyone. I just found out this thread and have to say this is awesome.

Now, if you pardon my cheek... Does anyone have custom covers for the planet of the apes movies (original franchise) and the old Captain America movies?

I would be very grateful.

I think this is the only cover you've posted that I'm not a huge fan of (to be honest). The writing on the back hurts my eyes. Too hard to see on the background or something.
