I'm a big fan of 3D, but this doesn't make sense to me (other than to generate more revenue for the studio). It should've been all or nothing - and Catching Fire would've benefited more with a 3D presentation than Mockingjay Pt. 1.
Imagine when the tributes emerge into the Cornucopia, not only does the aspect ratio change from scope to IMAX, but the movie also changes from 2D to a 3D presentation. |
