One the one hand there is very, very little worth watching in the directors cut version over the theatrical.

On the other hand, well its Commando so...

Both compelling arguments I think you will all agree.

I already have the old Zavvi steelbook so will see what happens with this one before I commit.

Seems like we're getting the Director's Cut of the coolest action hero in human history very soon... I'm not "happy".

"Happiness" is just a minimal word to describe how I feel. It's like having 45 orgasms in one single second.

+1. There isnt much in the DC to make it a must buy over the TC. But a better transfer would be one thing. And even if they just port the extras from the US DVD DC it will be worth it. The Zavvi steelbook is really nice but Id be tempted by a new steelbook too - its Commando! Especially if Bennett is on the back cover

The best thing about the extras? Arnie actually admitting that he was scared of Vernon Wells on set! Just too funny!

Any chance they could do something about the explosions? On the Australian release, the guns sounded excellent but when something blew up, there was nothing to it.
