It seems alot of fans grew to like the Lannisters just not Joffery. I've grown to really like them too. I even have a Cersei POP Vinyl figure.

I still love the Starks but it gets harder to really root for them as the seasons progress.

Anybody have the dimensions of the slipcases?

I have owned two copies of Season 1 (the original non-slip, then a Ultraviolet included non-slip), and a non-slip copy of Season 2, and only with Season 3 did I buy the Lannister slip version from Best Buy.

With Season 4, I was going to get the Pedro house slip, but after seeing Germany was releasing a Clegane slip version... well, I'm getting THAT one instead.

But if I had the dimensions of the slipcases for Season 1 and 2, I'm sure between a plotter at work and some simple graphics work I could make something on my own.

I'm definitely getting the Targaryen slip this year since Tyrell is online only. I got Stark last year and have the normal slips for S1 and S2.

I've taken Arya's approach. I don't really root for a specific house anymore, I just wish that the people I hate, die.

I ended up ordering both new covers, Tyrell and Martell. Not know if either will be available next season, I really couldn't decide between them. I plan to open the Tyrell and to keep Martell sealed and see if it is available next year for season 5. If it is, then I will sell my season 4 copy. Also, I'm hoping by ordering both, they will ship in a box and not an envelope.

Sorry if this has been asked already:

Does anyone by chance know which piece of music is used for the title/menu sequence for the season 4 blu-ray?

--Thanks

It is an original composition by the series' composer Ramin Djawadi.

Them? There is only one Targaryen left (unless you count her "children" or the one who "took the black" )

Targaryen is my favorite house (but Dany is not my favorite character, go figure) because how can you beat 3 dragons as a sigil? And it's black and red on top of it!

Was able to buy a Targaryen slip for season 3 for $10 online, I have the Stark slip for season 1 and Lannister slip on season 2. Think I'm going with the Martell slip for season 4.

I used to be a recording engineer and producer and I produced thousands of hours of spoken word recordings, documentaries and radio shows (among others). I personally don't like most audio commentaries because I don't think they're produced properly. They all sound like they do one take watching the movie and they comment in real time. It sounds like there's not one iota of editing or preparation.

If I were producing these, I'd do one run-through of the film, review the best parts and suggest improvements and then on a separate day, have them do it again. Then, on top of that, I'd edit out completely irrelevant or redundant comments, incomplete sentences and move the commentary around so it's relevant to what we're seeing, etc. And/or, I'd include a knowledgable "host" to guide the conversation and ask the right questions if the participants aren't disciplined enough to not ramble.

I'd also mix them differently. There's different approaches one could take, but I'd probably send the primary audio to the rear and send the commentary to front center. Or I'd spread the primary audio to left front and right, including the dialogue and mix the commentary to the center. I'd also raise back the levels of the soundtrack in the pauses between commentary statements.

Hmm.. I see what you did there. Are you referring to who I think you are?

I also wonder why the first season slips were only Stark and Targaryen.
Maybe Best Buy knows

Unless you're talking about Maester Aemon as being another Targaryen.

Still hate Jamie for what he did at the end of the very 1st episode.
