Martell. Like Olenna says, a flower brings fear to no one.

So far it seems all signs point to the price not dropping to $30 at least not during the opening weeks.

Best Buy will have Martell next year, it would be dumb on their part if they don't. A lot of people loved Oberyn, I'm pretty sure they're going to love his family this upcoming season. I would worry about Tyrell not coming back just like Greyjoy might not come back as well.

Prediction next year: Get rid of The three main houses
Martell
Stannis sigil
Bolton
Note: maybe online exclusives

I have the same as you for S1-S3. I went with Tyrell this time. Best Buy teased us with it last season and then didn't go through with it. I have a feeling if I don't get it this season, it might not be offered again. I will get Martell next season, I think they will have an even larger role to play and I try to pick my sigils based on who dominated the season. Though that seems to be Lannister every season.

I haven't seen it yet, but I was so surprised and ecstatic when they announced that what is probably my favorite band was going to be in an episode of what is probably my favorite show. Absolutely can't wait.

The fact some of you are playing rape apologetics is pretty f*****g disgusting.
I think you have to interpret the scene (and all other kinds of disgusting happenings in the story) within the context of the time and place the story is taking place, even if it's a fantasy.

Let's not forget that in most places in the world, women were considered property and there were few repercussions for rape. In fact, women had very few rights until the early 20th century. Incest and rape were quite common in many societies. Even today, every once in a while you hear some judge rule that there can't be rape between a husband and wife.

You can't expect the characters in such a story to act like "sensitive new age guys".

Found this on the web and this concerns activity in the U.S. only 100 to 200 years ago:
Quote:
Although rarely mentioned, there is mounting evidence that child sexual abuse occurred frequently throughout the last two centuries. Laws about statutory rape and incest reflect awareness that child sexual abuse existed, but their erratic enforcement suggests ambiguity about sexual abuse and society's role in child protection. Between the 1880s and 1900, for example, most states increased the AGE OF CONSENT from ten to at least sixteen, reflecting a common concern of the social purity movement that girls were vulnerable to sexual harm. Although almost every state outlawed incest, sexual acts between parent and child outside of intercourse fell under less stringent legal statutes.
Now take that back 500 years or so and imagine how badly humans behaved back then. Virtually everyone on this show has murdered numerous people and not just within the confines of military action. How come there's no outrage over that?

I have no doubt that 500 years from now, if we haven't destroyed life on this planet first, the humans of that time will look back on us as being just as cruel and deranged as we see some of the characters in "Game of Thrones".

You write that as if things were absolute. Yet, clearly, there are men who respect women in the show, and Jamie had prevented Brienne from being raped. So, what he did to Cersei is terrible, no matter the time period of social development.

I think her claim stems from the fact that her father was king, as was his and so on for almost three centuries.

Stannis' claim is similar but only go back 15 years.

How is Dany a nuisance? Would it be better if the house that ruled for all that time just died out before our story begins? Guess that means no dragons.

[Show spoiler]You didn't lose respect when he was banging his sister and tried to kill a little boy by pushing him out the window? It took you until the rape scene to lose respect and understanding for him?

Let's be honest, the guys a douche jerk of the highest order... i'm not a big fan of his, through the Brienne story arc i simply liked him more than i once did which doesn't mean i'm inviting him over to have tea any time soon.

Same with the Hound, he gets my respect for saving the beautiful and innocent Lady Sansa who if she was raped by those savages it would've been one of the hardest scenes to watch... and protected Arya somewhat and that earns some likable points but the guy was still a nasty baddie with little other redeeming qualities. Not going to crying for either of them meeting their fate.

People, use the effing spoiler tag if you're revealing ANY plot points. Be respectful of those who haven't watched this yet.

[Show spoiler]The redemptive arc of Jaime in season 3 was so well done, so moving, and one of the best things the show has done. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Gwendoline Christie were brilliant. Benioff and Weiss have done a great job with gender representation, and the writing and direction of the series always so strong, precise, and smart which makes THAT scene with Jaime and Cersei so glaring a misstep. It's a tired trope in tv to use rape as a device. Scandal did this also last season. Here to either show Jaime devolving into his ugly and selfish behavior or perhaps to gain sympathy for the cold, ruthless Cersei wanting a position of power so much yet demeaned or undermined again. The fact that the rape is not addressed by either party later in the episode or season illustrates the reckless use of it. If you're not offended by it fine, but it's easy to see why so many were, or at least heartbroken by it. Maybe it's perverse, but I sort of like or understand the Jaime and Cersei relationship. Their love for each other humanizes them a little amid all the violence, cruelty, and power playing.

I hope there's a lot of dirty sex in season 5.

The claims are all bullshit. Targaryens conquered westeros with the dragons. That's it. Whoever has the best strategy for conquering the land wins. Look at what Cersei did with Roberts letter at the end of season 1. Hell, everyone know Tywin was the real king of Westeros and for all we know, was pulling the strings in getting the mad king usurped.

As for Dany, "I will fight injustice with justice". Do I really need to say more? Her whole character is kind of cartoony compared to everyone else. Also, its the story the keeps me in, not the dragons. Wouldn't make a difference if there were no dragons or Danys story because she has yet to play a role and judging from GRRMs slowness, we may never see it. Hell, some speculate she'll give up westeros because of how much work her current land is. I doubt that though.

What is on the Bonus Disk at Best Buy? It seems that it's likely a special effects feature since internationally there are 3 behind the scenes features and only 2 of them have been announced with Target and Walmart each getting one.
