I'm not defending its crappiness - it looks cheesy as hell, and not in a good way like the above picture - just that I don't think the artist sat back and thought "now that's a photorealistic dinosaur!"

The back art is cheesy at best, but I love the front. Good thing I don't display the backs of my steels.

I'm just saying it's technically computer generated imagery, aka CGI ..I think it looks more videogame-ish than anything. Kind of like what you see in the JP game from Telltale Games

I think I'll pass on this one.
I no longer get catalogue titles in steelbooks.

Maybe it's not evident on the little product image but look at this nonsense:

That was a lenticular poster too, so while it was goofy looking, it did have a 3D effect. I agree that it looks dumb, but it wouldn't be so bad if they made the back cover lenticular too.

Hahahaha it's a terrible design! The best is the JB Hi-Fi one.

I quite like it. I don't like the way the title is positioned on the old JB hi-fi one. I'm not a big fan of the back art but, like someone already said, I don't display the back art, so I'll get over it. Wonder when these will go live...tomorrow? I expect they'll be staggered releases like the Pirates films were.

So.....over at HDN they're reporting that HDZeta will be releasing these as a "Only at HDZeta" (or whatever they call it) exclusive with potential swag and lenti slips over these same steelbooks. I'm sure they'll also have some sort of fancy tri-pack as well.

I don't even think anybody's noticed that the 3D disc isn't included. Everyone seems to be just complaining about the cover art.

Pass.

Have they gone back to 6pm for Sunday releases? It's been around mid-day for a while now...
