For those who got the HD version. Is it worth it if it's just going straight from HD to Blu? I've heard some mixed reviews

its not going to be any different. whats the point? im happy with my HD trilogy

Um...the point is, they've never been on Blu-ray before and not all of us went purple during the war.

What I meant was there wasn't a big improvement. The first one had the biggest improvement but the others were just slightly improved

Well, I'd personally be shocked if all three of these didn't look head and shoulders better than their SD counterparts, direct HD DVD ports or no.

good find Ill be getting these. This plus the Planet of the Apes set is going to be pretty expensive.

Warner better release them separate. Man, that lobby shootout scene is going to be amazing on blu.

The DVDTalk review was similar, giving the latter two movies 5 for video and original a 4.

The highdefdigest review is glowingly positive about the PQ and AQ as well.

$130 is too much. That's only going to appeal to collectors / big fans. There are joe average movie lovers out there too you know, er ... like me!

I thought Sept was going to be an expensive month, now with the POA and Matrix boxset releases, Nov is looking to be another expensive month.

Now wonder if we'll see Gladiator released in Dec...
