I don't understand the whole Iron Banner. I had 1 medallion in my inventory since last Iron Banner event, gained two more yesterday but then my medallions disappeared.

Abyss Defiant isn't too bad in PvP but I still prefer the Vanquisher VIII with Glass Half Full and Perfect balance. Suros Regime is most popular weapon I'm being killed by in IB.

Yeah, you earn a Medallion if you loose and can earn up to 5 medallions but these are all cashed in on the next game you win.
Don't forget to buy a Tempered Buff for bonus rep and also when you are ranked up enough, to buy the Emblem, Shader and Class item as these will give you a stacking bonus to your IB rep

Last night my brother pointed out that you can trade in Ascendant material to Eris and convert them to Radiant. I think the ratio is 6 Ascendant to make 1 Radiant plus some glimmer. You also have to be level 4 with her.

I had two purple gear engrams drop last night from the weekly. I got Ascendant from one automatically (no item) and yet another non-class item from the other. Here's an easy fix. If an account has multiple characters make the class drop random. If an account has only one character make it only drop for that class. I'm getting real tired of this.

How did you do the bridge? Legit, I assume, or did you both fly the sword over and then kill adds/ogres?

Unless this is something new, I believe he's mistaken. You can swap radiant materials (shards for energy or vice-verce) at the cost of a black wax plus 500 glimmer, I think. Only way to get additional radiant material is through the raid.

So any reason why people wouldn't let you in a raid with a similar tracking/dmg rocket launcher? My brother doesn't have a Gjallahorn but does have something very similar (damage and tracking) and people won't let him in raids. They let the two lower slots be populated with Icebreakers for the final part (He's 31 with a fully upgraded/expansion Icebreaker) if you don't have a Gjallahorn. I figured it was just the raid leader being an *******.

you nailed it!! it helps to have a g-horn, but there is all kinds of useful alternatives!!

I don't see a reason not letting someone in for that reason. I was sporting a rare single shot RL my 1st couple of crota runs.

I still need to go farm ghosts. I'll farm this weekend and get my first platinum ever. Im not a trophy hunter so im surprised to be so close lol

Even on hard we take ppl without Gjallahorns. 31s can just double up rockets or be put on boomer watch. Some pug groups are really elitist, I mean we tease our low levels but we give everyone a chance.
