Not sure I'd call any 1080p projector made "mediocre" as far as PQ is concerned..... It's a cheap way to get a BIG picture.... and the 1080p projectors currently made all look great (the ones I've seen) if you get one that works with the room/light you have.

I agree that a projector isn't for everyone, and I'm only entering the "strange and complex" world of them.... I decided on getting a 720p model b/c it was cheap, and basically PQ isn't very important to me anyways, but I'm sure I'll be impressed nonetheless.
