That's disappointing. Sounds like they're satisfied with "very good dvd mastering." It also sounds like I shouldn't expect a blu ray upgrade of The Lusty Men any time soon. I almost included that title in my recent 5 for 50 order, but I didn't want to risk a potential double dip.

Asked on facebook about THEM!, TIME AFTER TIME and THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD, Warner has said that one of these titles has been restored for Blu-ray release later this year and that the other two will likely follow.
![]() With THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING MAN announced in Germany, this might be a very good year for vintage sci-fi. Especially if Warner also releases VILLAGE OF THE DAMNED. |

Great news about Them! And The Thing From Another World. Thank you for the info! Now if we could get The Valley of Gwangi and The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms. Anyone willing to ask them about these great Harryhausen titles?

If it is Them!, it'll be a much welcomed upgrade from the open matte DVD. Plus, WHV always does more cleanup for their releases than what has been done for HD broadcast masters.

While I suspect that my order did fall into the cracks as WBShop took over for Warner Archive, I hope this isn't a sign of things to come. I did finally send an email to them last Wednesday. As I hit "send", a pop-up said they'd get back to me within two business days. Still haven't heard back from them. |

Does anyone have a direct email that Warner actually replies to? The web-form seems useless at this point.
My copy of Possessed had the wrong blu-ray inside the case. I've sent them MULTIPLE messages through their wbshop web form and no response - including the one for simple returns/exchanges. I figured the 1st one might have been lost because of the "integration" of Warner Archive into Warner shop. But then the Warner Shop customer service didn't respond either - and it's been a full week now!!! I guess I can try calling them tomorrow, but it's kind of upsetting to not even get a reply. I don't even think i got an automated reply. |
