I have 2 LDRs sitting in the vault that I haven't upgraded yet as I keep prioritizing other stuff so I'll have to go with the other option. But yeah, definitely time to get one of the LDRs maxed out.

Oh ya he went down in seconds with 3 LDRs. Easiest Nightfall ever.

I bet. I only found out about that spot yesterday, otherwise I'd have upgraded the LDRs sooner.

LDR was also good for Phogoth but that spot was nerfed with the patch as the LDR only goes through thin walls now.

Well the heavy ammo bug is not fixed (I believe this was already stated). I have two machine guns on my Titan. In the middle of patrol to get some bounties done I had the Thunderlord equipped. 42 total ammo so I switched to my other gun to see if I had more. That gun showed 67 ammo. I decided to switch back to TL and it was now showing 7 total ammo. This is without dying, firing a shot or going to orbit. In 5 seconds and simply switching my heavy I lost ammo.

So they fix cheese spots that are pretty much necessary to not have a stroke during boss fights and yet this still isn't fixed. I'm sick of the excuses and how it's "more complicated than it seems."

I agree. There's no excuse for a broken system, i.e. heavy ammo loss.

That's not a bug, that's intentional. You can't keep swapping weapons and expect more ammo

Well well,

Josh, Ric, Dylan, Silver

After our hard mode Atheon run last night I did not get much loot, or so I thought. Getting ready to raid tonight I went to the tower and guess what was waiting at the postmaster for me?

Vex Mythoclast! (Finally!)
Hardlight (my second one)
VoC
Praedyth's Timepiece

Let's just say, I am quite pleased

Who said anything about expecting more ammo? All we want is the ammo quantity to stay the same when switching heavy weapons. It's not too much to ask.

it does the same thing if you swap out primary or special weapons.

That does the trick even after the patch? I swear wall bangs are virtually useless now.

Definitely something to keep in mind for nightfall.
Used that spot for 4 nightfalls and 3 weeklies last night. Not once did any enemies bother us, and most of Sepiks's shots didn't touch us. He goes down so fast with sustained fire that he was down before the first drop ship came every time. I think it's better than the left room, as you will have a constant clear shot on him. From the room, you need to pop in and out to hit him, leaving yourself exposed to his and enemy fire. I can honestly say I've never taken him down fast, both with and without burn. This is my new spot for weeklies and nightfalls.

Re-read what I wrote. I had one amount in gun a and switched to gun b to see the amount I had there. I then switched back to gun a without firing a shot, dying or going back to orbit and the simple act of switching weapons caused my ammo amount from weapon a to mysteriously decrease.

I am not expecting to "get more ammo", have to two pools combine or anything like that. I simply want the amount I have in each weapon to stay the same assuming I don't use any or log out.

i smell what you are cooking! it seems like anytime i switch from rocket launcher to machine gun then back to rocket launcher, i lose ammo without using any.

Just be glad they didn't keep the system the same as the alpha/beta where you lost all your ammo when you swapped out a weapon.

It may be intentional. Switching to different weapons with different ammo capacity and ammo types, then back. Stands to reason you would lose ammo.

It has been this way since release and I know to make sure I don't switch heavy once I pop a synth or pick up ammo.
