Game of Thrones: The Complete Fourth Season (BD with Digital Copy)

Now that I've had a chance to go over all four Blu-Ray discs, I'll say that I liked this release, but not as much as other past releases. Nothing bad to say about picture or audio quality, but the bonus features were pretty lacking IMO.

That's not to say what we had wasn't great, because it was -- I always love the Histories & Lore and I appreciate the variety of commentaries. But Disc 1, for example, felt empty. I'm now even more convinced that they would have had the material that went into Walmart's "Planning a Royal Wedding" exclusive, probably as part of an "Anatomy of an Episode" feature, if they weren't so set on giving every possible retailer exclusive content.

And I could live without these round-table discussions, although I'm not complaining about their inclusion.

I stuck my German seasons 1-3 in some black 5-disc amarays. They look much better than those obnoxious digipacks.

Yeah, I assumed it was going to be Amaray cases since the 1-3 UK set was.

Now, until I get a new 1-4 set, I gotta figure out which season 4 set to keep.

That's a difficult choice. You could get the Aussie version sooner, but then you'd be stuck with that pop vinyl Figure.

well it certainly would have at least been nice to hear them do commentary for "The Mountain And The Viper" ... I opened my set to listen to the commentary for episode 8 and what do I get to my surprise ... the costume designers

Just started watching this set. I completely forgot that what happened to Joffrey happened so early in the season. Also thank god for that season 3 look back bc I forgot so much of that

Got a copy of this for free this week using voucher points I had saved up from a supermarket called Tesco over here
Was initially wanting that Amazon exclusive, but not so bothered as still not even seen the extra disc I got with Season 3.
Rewatching the whole show from the start just now this week!
Got a whole lot of watching if I am to do this before Season5 starts

Thats what im doing too....i started last wk watching 1 show a day for 40 days so that will lead up right to the S5 start.
