Default If you own any HD DVDs

Like I do, which ones, if any would you upgrade to the Blu-ray version. Personally, I am upgrading Transformers, and if they are released, Hot Fuzz, Shaun of The Dead, Clerks II, Happy Gilmore, and Billy Madison.

The only HD DVD I have that I may replace with a Blu-ray copy is Transformers, and that is if the TrueHD track is leaps and bounds better than the DD+ track.

I will upgrade Transformers, Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead, and The Rundown for PCM tracks. I'm probably OK with the rest of my Red stash as is.

None of those will have PCM. Universal is using DTS HDMA and Paramount is using TrueHD.

Transformers was reported to have PCM 5.1, but I'll take DTS-HD MA or PCM tracks for the titles I listed.

not sure which ones I'd upgrade... depends on the transfers they get to blu

I bought HD DVD exclusively to get The Big Lebowski, amongst other titles....

I don't own Transformers......

Eventually all. Probably when I can get the BD versions for cheap, like used or a good b2g1 offer.

I only got tricked into buying one HD DVD, and that was before I had Blu-ray. The claim was that I could buy it now, watch it in a DVD player,l and then when I got an HD DVD player, I could watch it in better definition then.

Guess what? Didn't work. So I went to Blu-ray.

I've since replaced it, but still have the HD DVD around, probably to show my kids someday.
