It was posted in the most public forum that TT has, their Facebook page, which was then copied/pasted/linked in this message board thread (and others on the internet, I'm sure), as other board members have already previously mentioned to you on these boards.

Remember... TT isn't shipping the title to you... SAE is. TT publically posted on its Facebook page that the title will be delayed for an additional week beyond the weather-related delays. TT stepped up and announced, in a very public way, an additional delay to the title. TT did everything right here.

If anyone was going to e-mail you, call you, or knock on your door to tell you "we're sorry, your order's been delayed", it's SAE, because you ordered from them, not from TT.

You have no way of knowing what went wrong. A last minute issue could have easily caused an unforeseen delay.

If you really think it was a cover up, buy a copy of Conspiracy Theory and start posting about "Storm Gate"

I guess owning a video store for 12 years probably doesn't give me too much insight.

But I have been dealing with Amazon for 15 years...and in 15 years, they have been late with one Disc. ONE! And I got almost 10 days notice from them it would be late....

A replicator like Cinram works on things weeks before street date, not days or hours....

(1) The issue with The Bounty was not related to the storm. Hell, I even bolded that point. Did you actually read it?

(2) Yes, they quite possibly knew a month before. But they also probably believed that they could fix whatever problems there were by the street date. It obviously wasn't until 5 days out that they realized that it wasn't going to be ready.

(3) Does it really screw up your life so completely that you're getting your shipment late? And why do you seem to believe that TT is the only label that doesn't make street dates? Every single friggin' label out there, from Olive Films to Warner Bros., ends up pushing back release dates because of production problems, and hardly ever gives consumers any notice.

Bounty aside, and not knowing when these were actually replicated at Cinram, the files found on the disc for JTTCOTE are dated 2/24/15 and the files for FMITM are dated 3/2/2015. These two discs would not have been replicated before those dates though.

I just don't understand, this indignation because it's late, especially since we were told. So what it's a little late I still havn't got mine. You forget one thing these are very small runs, it's not like they are pressing a million copies and have to start months ahead, they are done in a just in time manner, and anything can disrupt this, like weather.

Hello. I wanted to ask, when are we expecting a new announcement of TT about future releases?
There are so many movies I'm interested in of this year, and this made me wonder very much about what's next!

They announce 2 months of releases at a time, every 2 months, usually on a Saturday. They announced their May and June releases on 2/7, so I'd expect their July and August releases to be announced either on 4/4 or 4/11.

This is probably the case when they are working with a major studio printing a run in the tens of thousands. With TT where they are only producing 3,000 or sometimes 5,000 copies, that much lead time isn't needed. I'm sure they can get a complete run of a title pressed in one day.

Just wishful thinking... I know .

Now back at the ranch ...TT should re-release The Big Heat...their best title imo and one that should be available for sale .
Oh I hope so! That's the one I really want in my collection and missed out on it. But can not see paying over 40/45 for it and it's going for 59 on up.

According to this poll I started, the most wanted OOP title is Mysterious Island, and I really hope it is this!

I agree, I would love to have NOTLD redone. The Big Heat is a fantastic title, and I hope it gets re-released for those that missed it

Yeah, then all we'd have to worry about is our discs rotting.

I have a peeling TT disc - Man Hunt, IFPI: 2UEP. I posted in this thread and got no answer but also sent TT an email and still haven't received a reply, which of course is a really big surprise to me
