Personally, I think that Star Wars is the most overrated franchise in movie history and could care less when these movies reach Blu-ray. It seems that Lucas and Spielberg like to remind us that they own most of Hollywood and so that's why they make us wait forever for their movies.
Episode came out in 1999. It was 2 years after the movie hit the theaters. however, aside from that if you are even remotely a fan of blu-ray you would be more than excited for this movie to hit the shelves, even though you hate it. Star Wars will sell players like no other movie in my opinion, as well as software. Im assuming exclusivity. I hate LOTR, think its boring and bad, however would be very happy to see it on blu, because tons of ppl love it, just like star wars and thats what sells. In other words, grow up, just cause you don't like the movie doesn't mean others don't, and that it wouldn't be great news for blu.
