So I have to farm the dungeons for dungeon ritual material? Ugh. They're not that interesting.

That's what I'll be doing tonight I guess. I've already used the regular starter Chalice as well as the Central and Lower ones. Tonight I need to use the Root Chalices to hopefully get some better materials.

Anybody know if it's a good idea to play the whole game the weapon we got at the start? Because I have a saw clever +6 right now and doing great. I only found a saw spear so far. There doesn't seem to be to many weapons compared to the souls game.

You should be able to buy more at the Hunter's Dream bird pond near the doll. You collect badge's throughout the game that add new items for purchase.

I've been using my hunters axe the entire game. I have it fully upgraded to +10. I'm boring like that when it comes to video games with numerous weapons. If I find a weapon that gets the job done and I have it powered up I don't tend to get curious about the other ones UNLESS their beginning stats are more powerful than my current upgraded weapon, and they never usually are because you need to upgrade the new one of course otherwise it would probably be OP.

Same here, I tried using Ludwigs sword but I just love the axe and use that all the time. Have it at +6 and it hasn't failed once.

Going two handed is awesome. I love that charge attack, the double spin. I got the timing down so well I know when to start charging it when an enemy is running at me depending on their distance.

Yeah, that's mostly my main attack and one reason I don't like other weapons. Besides my axe doing more damage I have the charge spin down pat and really like how far I can get to an enemy.

Alls I gotta do for the plat now is do the dungeons & buy the weapon in new game plus. (lost my USB save today so had to back track & defeat a few bosses & acquire a bunch of shit I had before )

That sealed the deal for me cheese fighting the end boss 3 different endings.

The earlier dungeons are not so bad but it's freaking time consuming.

Also to make matters worse, my PS4 has been crashing randomly not to mention every time I boot up the thing I get a report problem. The Batman Console is looking mighty tempting at this point.

Stupid question but will just about any USB work to save game files to?

I need to look online for a full list of weapons but as of right now I think I'm only missing two. The one from the final boss and the one you can get from that female hunter with the bird mask.

I can't remember what weapon you get from the bird mask Hunter. I have 24/26
Need the ending boss one ( which I did buy but will probably have to get it again as I deleted that save ) & the one you get in the Dungeon. Also need the rare blood gem in the Dungeon.

btw,

Strongly advise against NG+ I have 790 attack on my weapon & the regular dudes in the beginning of the game take 3 hits to kill. Holy mother #^%%**%%%^*^^%%%

It from the Sony store online. It's sold out now. I got lucky and it came back in stock.

"Leave your game running for 12+ hours. Seriously. There's a memory leak issue in this game that causes bosses to have a reduced moveset after the game has been running for a long time. I wondered for a long time why so many bosses in my initial playthrough seemed so easy. Turns out I'm not just a Bloodborne badass who can 1-shot the bosses other people have trouble with, it was because I marathoned the whole game in one sitting and around the 12-hour mark bosses became much simpler.

I just tested this yesterday by turning off the PS4 power saving options and leaving Bloodborne running all night. Sure enough, when I played in the morning Logarius had transformed from an intense spell casting maniac into a senile old man who did nothing but attack with his scythe over and over. BSB stops jumping all over the room and doing multi-hit combos and just politely spams his side-swipe, Amelia stops healing, One Reborn stops pooping acid, every boss changes in some way and ultimately becomes much easier. Hope this clears up some confusion. I know other people have noticed this behavior also. It's has nothing to do with insight or being online, you're not tricking the AI, it's just a bug most likely caused by a memory leak.

If you're encountering this bug and don't want to cheese your way through the game, just do a full exit (hold down the PS button on your controller, then select "Close Application") and open it up again. EDIT: I didn't test to see if this happens when leaving the game suspended in rest mode, but many comment are confirming that it does. Make sure to regularly exit and restart Bloodborne to avoid this bug."

Should be fun hahaha. I went through Demon Souls and Dark Souls on NG++.

What does NG+ even do? Does it just restart the game from the beginning with your same stats or do bosses/enemies get stronger/change etc?

If it's like Demon Souls and Dark Souls, all enemies are about 40% stronger and you do get to keep just about everything except progression items like keys for example.

Sounds about right.

I noticed I had most consumables & my stats were the same.

The strongest weapon in the game, (Sadly I will not get it maxed)

[Show spoiler]Burial Blade (end boss) weapon has a 189 attack with 0 upgrades.

No wonder you can't get it until NG+

2 Dungeons down, 4 to go.

Finished all the endings and entered NG+ after the longest ending. I still have dungeons to do. A few weapons to purchase, but there is one that is a dungeon drop, so I'll just keep increasing my stats until I get there. Need that weapon and the gem and the boss from the dungeon for platinum now.

By the time I got back to the workshop to level up, I had 371k echoes. The cleric beast took a lot longer to kill this time around, but still not too bad.

Someone asked about starting weapons. I used the saw cleaver for the whole game, and the starting pistol. But most people seem to use the axe, mostly two handed.

Wow. Not sure if real, but it would make sense.

I swear I have looked at boss fight videos where the bosses do not act at all like during my fights and seem way more limited in their options.

I never play more than 3 hrs straight, so it figures...
